The Incubator of Technological Projects and Business, one of the Inmetro practices of collaborative innovation, welcomes startups projects and companies already established in the market, receiving the assistance of researchers and technicians of the institution and access specialized services in the fields of acoustics and vibration, biotechnology, fluid dynamics, chemistry, materials, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, heat and ultrasound. Once selected, businesses may be in a room about 25 m², besides also with logistical support including facilities for video conferencing over the design of the incubation period.

There are four methods of incubation, ranging from give support for the independent inventor, that want to make a patent product, to new business enterprises with proposed technological projects for enterprises in the Technological Park of Inmetro.
